Eaton's Power Delivery Division is seeking a skilled Tool Room Supervisor to oversee all aspects of tooling manufacturing, maintenance, and development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Oversee daily tooling support for production, planning die repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise, train, and instruct tool & die repairs in safety, maintenance, and quality methods and procedures.
• Teach and mentor the tooling team on die functions and troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise the daily activities of the tooling employees in a union environment.
• Manage and coordinate human resources to achieve tooling preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage external tooling preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities with suppliers.
• Lead root cause analysis of recurring problems to reduce tooling failures and minimize costs.
• Maintain tooling spare parts availability.
• Monitor tool room indicators and create action plans to achieve goals.
• Oversee the mold change program to achieve goals.
**Requirements:**
• Industrial, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor's Degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
• Tooling design experience, problem-solving methodologies, continuous improvement tools, quality system, and ability to analyze and work from blueprints and product drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T, welding, and machining, TIG and MIG welding processes, electrical knowledge, hydraulic, pneumatic, control, sensors, hot and cold runner, blasting systems, and EDM experience.
• CAD knowledge is a must (Solid works, AutoCAD, etc).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
