About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer to join our team at Aaf - Power & Industrial. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key ResponsibilitiesCost Database Management

Conduct regular reviews and updates of our cost databases for all IAQ products, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Maintain up-to-date financial and quoting tools to support informed decision-making.

Cost Position Reporting

Generate and report cost positions for all IAQ product lines, analyzing performance against profitability standards. Identify areas for cost reduction and implement effective solutions.

Equipment Costing Support

Collaborate with the Americas region team to develop and maintain accurate costing models for equipment. Ensure seamless communication and coordination across all levels of the organization.

CPQ System Support

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our CPQ system, providing data and insights to inform business decisions. Partner with sourcing, product, and engineering teams to drive cost and margin analysis.

Cost Improvement Initiatives

Lead cost reduction initiatives, investigating cost drivers and implementing process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective cost-saving strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success
  • Strong Excel, SharePoint, database, and data sharing software skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
