Job Title: Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our site technical support and utility teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining "business as usual" for plant operations and continuously improving the availability and reliability of equipment to manufacture quality products in a safe and cost-effective way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a site maintenance improvement plan using the PEMM strategy.
  • Define, deploy, and innovate world-class maintenance and inventory excellence techniques and continuous improvement initiatives to increase the overall reliability of the asset base.
  • Manage and control the operation of the maintenance function and inspections to ensure efficient operation within agreed budget limits.
  • Liaise with production function to prepare and agree on maintenance schedules and budgets that make optimum use of resources and minimize costs and downtime.
  • Provide support to FLMs, engineers, and maintenance support team to develop skill base and motivation within the function.
  • Drive the maintenance and operation of site/building services and equipment to ensure delivery of utilities to production areas of the plant to maximum efficiency and safety.
  • Pro-actively promote and drive 'Continuous Improvement' concepts and principles in all areas of manufacturing and engineering.
  • Manage maintenance and internal/external regulatory requirements for scheduled inspection and maintenance activities on site.
  • Ensure budgetary control across maintenance activities in line with all standards and protocols.
  • Maximize technical availability and asset reliability across the site by effectively leading, promoting, and introducing analytical problem-solving techniques to maximize overall effectiveness.
Environmental Management System:
  • Comply with the Environmental Policy and implement and maintain the environmental management system.
  • Perform necessary actions to implement and maintain the GEHSMS.
  • Evaluate compliance with legal requirements.
  • Train the GEHSMS internal audit team.
Food Safety Management Systems:
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
