About the Role
This position is with ABB, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specification of automation systems
- Create functional description and program SW applications and graphic displays (HMI)
- Perform acceptance tests FATs (Factory Acceptance Test) and commissioning on customer site
- Active work within the entire project team
- Produce technical documentation in accordance with ABB's and end-customers' requirements
Requirements
- Experience with automation products (PLC, Control Systems, SCADA systems, etc.)
- Fluent proficiency in English
- Flexibility to travel abroad on business trips
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Valid US visa (helpful)
- Global mindset with a passion to work in diverse cultures
- Ability to work independently, and team player who is flexible and open to new ideas
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering or related
