This role is responsible for optimizing the production organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engineering solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, diagrams, and Bill of Materials.
- Conduct design reviews and verification to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Support the shop floor during product fabrication and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in product quality or testing.
- Familiarity with electrical circuit diagrams.
- Conversational English proficiency.
