Global Education Ministries Missionary Teacher Ambassador

The Manantial School is a unique, full English immersion program located in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. This program provides local Mexican children with a gospel-saturated, K-12th education, meeting the needs of students and their families while preparing them for different paths after graduation.
Job ObjectiveAs a Missionary Teacher Assistant for the Elementary School, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by pouring out your life in the classroom. You will support a positive learning environment, assist teachers, and invest in students academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Most importantly, each Teacher Assistant is also a missionary, using their skills as a teacher to plant seeds of the gospel of Jesus Christ daily.
Key Responsibilities- Support classroom teachers in serving students
- Saturate all interactions with students and their families in the truth of the gospel
- Prepare and assist in classrooms using best practices
- Assist the school administration in accomplishing academic goals
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community
In this role, you will have opportunities to leverage your life in a truly impactful and meaningful way, serving the Lord while making a difference in the lives of students. As a missionary, there are expectations to assist in recruiting, fundraising, creating policy, and being an ambassador for Global Education Ministries.
Qualifications- A genuine faith in Jesus Christ
- Degree in Education or related field
- An outgoing and adventurous personality, ready to pursue others for the sake of the gospel
- Flexibility of schedule
- Willingness to relocate to Mexico for the duration of the 2-year contract
- Eligibility to work in the US
The starting salary for this position is $13,200 (USD) per year, plus a fundraising goal of $18,000 per year. Our team will provide fundraising training before fundraising begins. This missions position requires flexibility and adaptability, but offers the opportunity to serve the Lord in a unique and rewarding way.
