Protecting Quantum's Assets
Quantum Corporation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join its team. As a key player in our security landscape, you will be responsible for detecting, responding to, and remediating security incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in protecting our assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate security alerts and suspicious activity to identify potential threats.
- Prioritize and mitigate security flaws and vulnerabilities.
- Perform security audits, network forensics, and penetration tests to strengthen our defenses.
- Develop and implement incident response procedures to minimize the impact of security incidents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices in security.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
