Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Systems Specialist to join our team at AutoZone. As a key member of our IT Program Management Office, you will play a critical role in tracking forecasted budgets for various projects, gathering and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement to streamline the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource Management: Assist with the management of internal and external resources across individual projects, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
- Project Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tracking spreadsheets, providing timely and reliable information to stakeholders.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research as required to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Invoice Processing: Monitor and process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and communicating findings to vendors as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Team Support: Provide backup support to the team as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Financial Management: Enter invoices into the accounting system with correct coding, ensuring proper approval and maintaining accurate and organized records of invoices and payments.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or Project Management, or equivalent.
- Area of Study: Computer Science, Information Technologies, Accounting, Finance, or Administration.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in project resource management and invoice processing.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual: Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of purchase order and invoice management.
