Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Equipment Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional manufacturing solutions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and processes, ultimately driving business success and customer satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of equipment utilized in manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Determination of work priorities based on production schedules, collaborating with department and line supervisors to achieve goals.
  • First point of contact for escalated issues, providing expert support and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Training of machine support technicians to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and process continuity.
  • Identification and implementation of long-term solutions to repetitive equipment problems, driving continuous improvement.
  • Facilitation of New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth product launches and high-quality results.
  • Support to machine support technicians during line shifts, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Development and maintenance of metrics-driven improvements, focusing on efficiency, yield, and overall performance enhancement.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills, including data collection, analysis, and conclusion drawing.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including Windows-based systems and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with standardized situations and occasional variables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of wave and selective soldering, profiling, washers, and polymerics (conformal coating, underfill, staking).
