Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Cabot Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Desktop Support Engineer to join our Digital Service Delivery Management team at our Altamira, Mexico facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide second-level technical support for desktops and IT equipment at our site or remotely. The successful candidate will handle issues with limited supervision, diagnose and problem solve, and resolve problems of medium complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-level IT technical support of desktops and IT equipment at the site or remotely.
  • Diagnose and problem solve issues on a particular technology or local applications.
  • Resolve problems of medium complexity.
  • May assist with the coordination of regional activities and support Digital projects & Global initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of 2nd-level desktop support experience required.
  • High School Graduation is required.
  • Technical Certifications preferred:
  • A+ certification.
  • Hardware / OEM warranty certifications.
  • Microsoft certifications.
