Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Wood. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate estimates of how much it will cost to provide a client or potential client with services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project estimates and ensure they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support more senior members of the estimating team in the management of contract or project estimating norms and the preparation and filing of project estimate documentation.
  • Act as the focal point for several smaller, less complex project scopes.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of six (6) years of progressive industry experience, with at least four (4) years in estimating positions.
  • Good knowledge of estimating techniques and systems with a detailed knowledge of how these are applied.
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Good understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management.
