Job Description

As a Senior Estimator at Wood, you will play a crucial role in preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate estimates for client projects. This involves ensuring that budgeting and planning are accurate, and that projects are delivered profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project estimates with the required level of detail and accuracy, in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies.
  • Support senior members of the estimating team in managing contract or project estimating norms and preparing estimate documentation.
  • Act as a focal point for smaller, less complex project scopes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).
  • Minimum of six years of progressive industry experience, with at least four years in estimating positions.
  • Good knowledge of estimating techniques and systems, with a detailed understanding of their application.
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Good understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management.
