Central America Anti-Corruption Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Central America anti-corruption program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of this 36-month program, which aims to strengthen the practical skills and resiliency of Central American anti-corruption actors (ACAs) through professional development, rapid response support, and community building.

The Program Director will design and implement a comprehensive program strategy, working closely with stakeholders in the region and the US government. This includes developing program content for 120 fellows across three cohorts, identifying need for and providing rapid response support, designing and ensuring implementation of professional development training content, and monitoring fellows during their fellowships in the US and multiple Central American countries.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Program Director will also work with sub-awardees and consultants to deliver training content, manage contractual relationships, identify and procure trainers, and develop plans for safely evacuating/arranging travel for fellows and dependents to the US. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial management of all program activities and contribute to IIE budgeting activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor fellows during their fellowships in the US and multiple Central American countries
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of program objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in international development, public policy, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the field of anti-corruption
  • Strong knowledge of program management principles, including strategic planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
