Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Program Implementation: Develop and implement EHS programs to improve performance, reduce risk, and ensure compliance.
- Training and Development: Deliver EHS training events and workshops to employees and stakeholders.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct internal and external EHS audits, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage corrective actions.
- Network Development: Develop and maintain a network of EHS managers/officers in the region.
- Performance Review and Improvement: Organize workshops to review performance, share best practices, and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Data Management: Verify and manage EHS reporting into ZF's data management systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key EHS point of contact for regional management and stakeholders.
- Best Practices and Lessons Learned: Identify and replicate best practices throughout ZF, share lessons learned, and implement corrective actions.
- Education: Degree or specific education in Safety and/or Environmental Engineering and Management or closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational environment with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental management.
- Knowledge and Skills: Thorough working knowledge and understanding of EHS compliance regulations, experience in implementing and managing EHS Management System requirements, and strong communication skills in English and at least one regional language.
