IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Monterrey, Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze data from various cyber defense tools to identify and mitigate threats in the environment.
- Respond to crisis or urgent cyber events to minimize immediate and potential threats.
- Maintain and follow documented processes for events.
- Operate and troubleshoot network and system security tools to ensure their availability.
- Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations or policies.
- Maintain compliance with relevant controls and regulations.
- Provide guidance on optimizing and improving tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English language skills.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Fortinet products, antivirus-EDR, Linux servers, programming languages, DNS, Darktrace, SIEM, and SOAR.
- Ability to design incident response for cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Ability to apply techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusions.
- Ability to recognize and react to cyber-attack stages.
- Skill in identifying, capturing, containing, and reporting malware.
- Skill in securing network communications.
- Knowledge of penetration testing principles, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of cyber defense and information security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of risk management processes.
