Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team at Clayens. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations
    • Develop and implement effective warehouse operations strategies to optimize inventory management, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
    • Lead the reception, transfer, and control of inventories of raw materials and finished products to maintain an adequate supply and avoid production stoppages.
    • Coordinate the transfer of raw materials and auxiliary products, assigning workloads to warehouse personnel to ensure timely delivery and minimize production disruptions.
  • Inventory Management
    • Supervise the accurate and timely recording of inventory levels, including physical counts and cycle counts, to ensure 99.99% accuracy.
    • Review and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues promptly to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products to meet customer demands.
    • Monitor and control the movement of goods, including receiving, storing, and shipping, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
    • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction within the warehouse team.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the warehouse operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
    • Proficiency in SAP or other warehouse management systems, with experience in inventory control, document control, and cycle counting.
