This position is accountable for the formulation and execution of product planning and process forecasting within the Discrete Automation sector across the Americas. The role involves identifying demand risks to create contingency strategies, collaborating on Global Demand planning initiatives, and overseeing the SIOP planning process while driving continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute efficient product planning and forecasting methodologies, including the re-engineering and automation of existing manual processes. Collaborate on the SIOP process to ensure alignment with customer delivery and revenue goals. Recognize critical demand risks and integrate them into contingency planning, enhancing the quality of information exchange between Sales teams and Supply Chain. Support the Global Demand planning strategy by implementing the Supply Chain Strategies for Discrete Automation. Plan and provide necessary support for Global Demand planning projects. Oversee SIOP planning processes and promote ongoing process enhancements. Facilitate monthly SIOP Planning meetings and engage in relevant project discussions. Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Finance, and affiliated regions to collect essential information. Maintain procedures and documentation to ensure system accuracy and integrity. Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, and report any unsafe conditions or practices.

You are proactive and decisive in fast-paced and unpredictable environments. You are dedicated to continuous improvement and are keen on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for integration and alignment. You are an eager learner who views both successes and setbacks as valuable learning experiences. Qualifications: A degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration, accompanied by relevant experience. Familiarity with Oracle systems is preferred but not mandatory. A solid background in manufacturing is essential. Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
