Key Responsibilities:
* Work with multiple development, security, and operations teams and thrive in a DevSecOps environment.
* Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the services that make up our products.
* Work with the development, QA, and operations teams to automate steps in development and deployment processes.
* Work with the development, QA, and operations teams to ensure adequate health and security monitoring for all production systems, including hardware, server components, and deployed applications.
* Design and implement scalability and recoverability for all business-critical services.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrated ability in a related field is required.
* 5+ years in a DevOps/DevSecOps role within software organizations, supporting Linux servers (preferably RHEL-based).
* 2+ years of experience with AWS, Puppet, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket.
* 1+ years writing Terraform configurations and working with container tools like Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes/EKS.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python) and managing CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining software in production environments.
* Strong understanding of networking, routing, firewalls, and DNS in cloud and on-prem environments.
* Proven ability to lead large, complex projects with minimal direction.
* Familiarity with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) and agile development principles.
* Excellent documentation skills and ability to write clear, easy-to-understand content.
* A self-motivated team player, willing to take ownership of incidents and help the team as needed.
