About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Blue Coding. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems in our enterprise data and analytics environments. You will work closely with our software engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and DevOps/SysOps teams to deliver best-in-class data solutions that empower enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain systems in enterprise data and analytics environments
  • Partner with software engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and DevOps/SysOps teams to deliver data solutions
  • Build and support decision-making tools to optimize performance
  • Design and implement scalability and recoverability for business-critical services
  • Work with multiple development, security, and operations teams in a DevSecOps environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated ability in a related field
  • 5+ years in a DevOps/DevSecOps role within software organizations, supporting Linux servers (preferably RHEL-based)
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS, Puppet, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket
  • 1+ years writing Terraform configurations and working with container tools like Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes/EKS
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python) and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining software in production environments
  • Strong understanding of networking, routing, firewalls, and DNS in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex projects with minimal direction
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) and agile development principles
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to write clear, easy-to-understand content
