About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Area Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to Associates, ensuring compliance and consistency across the team.
  • Create and manage recognition and communication programs to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
  • Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the operation.
  • Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
