Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Walter Tools SA de CV is seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales team in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the team meets its goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct monthly sales results with the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
- Recruit, train, and develop new sales team members.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the team.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee the full sales process from lead generation to cash collection.
- Ensure the sales team follows established processes and best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management team.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering.
- 5-8 years' experience in the cutting tool industry dealing with sales.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Package.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
