**Medical Affairs Role**


Viatris is a leading healthcare company that empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be part of our Medical Affairs team, working closely with healthcare professionals, researchers, and scientific authorities to provide medical and scientific information. Your primary objective will be to exchange peer-to-peer medical and scientific information with customers and internal partners.


**Key Responsibilities**



  • Develop professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in key areas of Cardiometabolic business.
  • Participate in training sessions, deliver clinical/scientific presentations, and attend congresses and company-sponsored symposia.
  • Collaborate with internal Medical Affairs teams to provide information on new products, support key product strategies, and publications.
  • Assist with investigator-initiated research, CMEs, advisory boards, KOL interactions, and scientific reviews.
  • Provide medical information to national/regional Key Opinion Leaders on scientific information and clinical guidelines.
  • Build and maintain advanced disease, product, and therapy knowledge with other relevant key collaborators.
  • Represent the Medical Department at Local and International Medical Congresses and Conventions.
  • Monitor and facilitate pre-Congress abstract submissions and attend poster sessions and oral presentations.
  • Assist in CME/CEU programs development and organization and participate in scientific committees.
  • Provide clinical education and therapy training support to sales force.
  • Actively gather and monitor Competitive Intelligence, in accordance with Company Policy.

**Requirements**



  • Minimum requirement: Physician (MD), with some experience in cardiometabolic health.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • High standard of professionalism and integrity.
  • Well organized and able to deal with multiple projects.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • 2 years + of proven success and accomplishment in pharmaceutical industry.
