Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at the LEGO Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and quality delivery of materials, and driving cost savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategies to improve delivery times, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with suppliers to review production plans and capacity, ensuring alignment with our supply chain requirements.
  • Manage and analyze inventory levels to guarantee supply while minimizing obsolescence.
  • Stop deliveries in case of incidents related to FSC, quality, or confidentiality, after alignment with the leader.
  • Maintain effective communication between LEGO collaborators and suppliers.
Requirements
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing in a manufacturing company, with global experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, commercial, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP experience.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, customer service, and quality orientation.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and problem-solving, with a focus on strategic results.
  • Fluent English language skills.
