About the Role

The Automotive Recovery Specialist is responsible for the execution of activities related to the sale of repossessed units, lease-back units, company cars and units in general that GM dealers or other sellers are interested in commercializing, offering the follow up and internal support of the different stages. This role is focused on the full administration of the inventory, control of prices, follow up of the payments and general administration of the processes that result in the monthly recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure, based on price and expense controls, the maximum possible value from the sale of the units, positively impacting the company's indicators.
  • Assure adequate management of outsourced service providers, including auction houses, transportation vendors, inspectors, etc
  • Provide support to other team members, providing training and maximizing their capabilities, guiding them to achieve and exceed the objectives of the area.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations & internal controls and guidelines (Policies and BPMS processes) that may govern the business.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor ́s Degree in Administration, Business, or related fields, and 3+ years of experience working in Remarketing, Collections, Credit or related areas. Additionally, they should have high level of experience managing and dealing with external vendors, fluent English Skills (Comprehension, written & verbal), and proficiency in influencing and negotiations skills. They should also have strong analytical skills to assess performance of the operations, ability to minimize risk and solve problems, as well as ability to quickly find common ground and solve problems, including deal with ambiguity.
