At JLL, we empower our people to shape a brighter future for real estate. As a Regional Engineering Director in the AMER region, you will lead the engineering function for one of our key client portfolios.

The role involves executing and innovating Hard Services delivery, forming part of the account's senior leadership team. You will manage regional managers as well as a central service engineering team, working strategically with JLL leadership and client stakeholders to provide exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate technical services performance and foster a collaborative team culture that aligns with the client's vision and JLL's ambition.
  • Oversee Hard Services Management across AMER locations, ensuring effective budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk management.
  • Provide leadership to Technical, Energy, Central Service, and Project managers to deliver services within scope, budget, and contractual obligations while meeting key performance indicators.
  • Develop an open and unified client experience by fostering relationships between management teams, service partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance and operational management, adhering to statutory and organizational standards, policies, and legislation.
  • Drive company vision, values, and strategic goals, measuring and driving performance to expected levels and standards.
  • Communicate regularly with client stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are fit-for-purpose, delivering services according to JLL and client-defined standards.
  • Implement innovations and enhancements within the Engineering function across the AMER region.
  • Hold responsibility for contract management of M&E, Fabric, and hard service partners, vendors, and other procured services.
  • Identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement actions to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Manage business-critical/emergency situations, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruption.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in critical engineering, 5+ years in leadership and management positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field.
  • Direct experience in directing technical services within Facilities Management in fast-paced, high-profile environments, preferably with self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contracts.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
  • Availability to travel at least 30% of the year.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing diverse teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience in operational facilities management, managing services to meet KPIs.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices, innovations, and energy management.
  • Understanding of building regulations, legislation compliance, and best working practices.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting, identifying cost savings/avoidance.
  • Able to manage multiple work streams, proactively resolving challenges or issues.
  • Confident in presenting information and delivering training to colleagues and peers.
  • Think strategically to implement continual improvements to service delivery.
  • Thriving on building and maintaining positive client relations and networks at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Word and Excel, with a keen interest in technology.

Location: On-site in Distrito Federal, Mexico State, Mexico.
