As a Regional Engineering Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success by leading our engineering function for a key client portfolio.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for executing and innovating Hard Services delivery, forming part of the account's senior leadership team.
  • Lead regional managers and a central service engineering team, ensuring seamless collaboration and cohesive performance.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with JLL leadership and client stakeholders, fostering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk management across AMER locations.
  • Provide effective leadership to technical, energy, central service, and project managers, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Cultivate open communication channels between management teams, service partners, and stakeholders, creating a unified client experience.
  • Maintain compliance and operational excellence, adhering to statutory and organizational requirements.
  • Drive the company vision, values, and strategic goals, measuring and improving performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, communicating regularly to build trust and loyalty.
  • Foster innovation and enhancements within the Engineering function, driving continuous improvement.
  • Hold responsibility for contract management, developing a strong partnering ethos with vendors and service providers.
  • IDentify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement action plans to minimize project risks.
  • Manage critical situations promptly, minimizing disruption to the business while promoting best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in critical engineering and 5+ years in leadership and management roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Direct experience directing technical services in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, preferably in self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contracts.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
  • Availability to travel at least 30% of the year.
  • Proven track record as a seasoned leader, adept in managing diverse teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience in operational facilities management and managing services to meet KPIs.
  • Sustainability knowledge and experience in energy management.
  • Understanding of building regulations, legislation compliance, and best working practices.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting, identifying cost savings and avoidance.
  • Able to manage multiple work streams proactively, resolving challenges and issues effectively.
  • Confident in presenting information and delivering training to colleagues and peers.
  • Strategic thinker, implementing continual improvements to service delivery.
  • Thrives on building and maintaining positive client relations and networks at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Distrito Federal, MEX, Estado de Mexico, MEX.
