**Job Summary:**
As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient movement of materials and develop specifications for new contract orders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize material flow and reduce lead times.
2. Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate material requirements and efficient material movement.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and product managers to ensure accurate communication of production dates and material availability.
4. Analyze data and make informed decisions to improve material planning and procurement processes.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our procurement processes.
