About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical harnesses for our rail industry products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate linked métier requirements such as Advanced Industrialization, Harness designer, EMC, and Maintainability
  • Create 3D models of electrical harnesses by collaborating with mechanical designers, manufacturing engineering, and S&A designers
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or Solidworks
  • Develop detailed electrical harness design deliverables including BoM kits, formboards, BoM in ERP & DMA, wiring lists, Plug Maps, instruction sheets, jig & tools lists, etc.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience or understanding of harness design and routing integration in various products
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or Solidworks
  • Skill in detailed electrical harness design including BoM, formboards, and wiring lists
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish both written and spoken
