In this era of digital transformation, HP is at the forefront of creating a global community where information flows seamlessly through always-on connectivity. As an HR Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing HP's HR systems, data, and technology enablement.

This position recognizes us as the first point of contact for 'the what' in systems enablement, providing expert solutions support to complex business problems and serving as the gateway to IT.

Job Summary:

  • Work on moderately complex issues within established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide analysis of information with limited project direction input.
  • Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
  • Follow established guidelines and interpret policies.
  • Evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply the software lifecycle development approach (requirements, build, test, implementation) with a focus on Workday security.
  • Understand HR SaaS Platform security models; Workday experience is a plus.
  • Implement and manage multiple parts of process delivery with team guidance and instructions, including any security audits.
  • Provide analytical support and analysis for priority projects that impact employees at the country level and may lead projects of low complexity.
  • Resolve HR support cases of moderate to high complexity that cannot be answered immediately through HR support teams.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Education & Experience:

  • A four-year or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically, 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Workday Pro certification.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Workday security configuration.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills desired, e.g., advanced knowledge in spreadsheets and databases preferred.
  • Basic project management skills, including planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Developed level of process knowledge and expertise in back-end processes.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment and with guidance on more complex issues and decisions.
