Job Summary
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. We are seeking a skilled Senior Layout Engineer to join our DRAM and Emerging Memory Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing IP layouts used in DRAM chips, performing layout verification, and ensuring on-time delivery of block-level layouts with acceptable quality.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop IP layouts used in DRAM chips
• Perform layout verification, quality check, and documentation
• Ensure on-time delivery of block-level layouts with acceptable quality
• Demonstrate leadership skills in planning, area/time estimation, scheduling, delegation, and execution to meet project schedule/milestones
• Guide and lead junior team members in their execution of sub-block-level layouts and review their work
• Contribute to effective project management
• Plan and document layouts, presenting material for global teams to review
• Optimize layout area and routing, design rules, yield, and reliability issues

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in layout designs in advanced CMOS process
• Expertise in layout area and routing optimization, design rules, yield, and reliability issues
• Good understanding of layout fundamentals, including electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, parasitic analysis, matching, shielding, etc.
• Proficient in Cadence tools, including Virtuoso schematic editor, Virtuoso layout L, XL, and verification tools like Mentor Calibre
• Leadership qualities and ability to multitask as required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, hardworking, goal-oriented, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of coding and layout automation is a plus
