Technical Leadership:
- Outline a strategic plan for infrastructure advancements (new hardware, software updates, sourcing strategies);
- Develop a plan for modifications in services provided to business units and internal stakeholders;
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience with VMware, Citrix, Storage, and Windows Server is essential.
- Knowledge of Linux OS is preferred.
- VMware, Citrix, and NetApp certifications are advantageous.
- At least 7 years of experience in server hardware maintenance and support is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge in Data Storage Solutions administration (NetApp, EMC preferred).
- Familiarity with Server/Storage hardware (Dell, HP, EMC, NetApp preferred) at an expert level.
- Proficient in VMware Administration, with strong skills in vSphere, vSAN, and other VMware products and platforms. Candidates should also possess a solid understanding of network engineering, including firewalls, servers, networks, and operating systems.
- Expertise in Citrix Application and Desktop Virtualization.
- Advanced knowledge of Systems Backup Technologies (Veritas, Commvault preferred).
