We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of our facilities, ensuring that all items are properly stored, and that the storage areas are clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the inventory of our facilities, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that all items are properly stored.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve large-scale engineering problems, such as A/C, internet, and telephone issues.
- Prepare and review written documents, including daily logs, business letters, and reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with customers to resolve maintenance issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist local authorities with emergency and natural disaster situations.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
