**Job Title:** Laundry Attendant

**Salary:** $35,000 - $45,000 per year (estimated)

**Job Description:

As a Laundry Attendant at Marriott International, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery. You will also identify stained or damaged items and determine their status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
  • Identify stained or damaged items and determine their status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place them in clean linen carts
  • Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in the load
  • Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
  • Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using a folding machine

**Requirements:*

  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No license or certification needed
