We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Production Supervisor to join our team at Paper Street Media. As a key member of our post-production department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our LATAM video editing team, ensuring that post-production workflow runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Director of Post-Production to carry out the strategic vision for the department.
  • Manage the daily operations of the LATAM video editing team, ensuring that post-production workflow runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets deadlines.
  • Problem Solve various technical filmmaking issues, especially focusing on issues that occurred during on set production.
  • Assign and approve work, making sure policies, procedures, and workflow are followed.
  • Directly involved with hands-on video editing and delivery of our brands.
  • Ensure that deliverables are on brand, meeting creative standards and delivery specifications.
  • Keep up with industry best practices and innovations.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Must have strong understanding of all aspects of post-production, from editing and color grading to audio and visual effects.
  • Knowledge of the overall filmmaking process, from inception to delivery.
  • Familiarity with cameras, lenses, lighting, mics, stabilizers and other production/on set technology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical filmmaking issues that occurred during production.
  • Knowledge of post-production workflows.
  • Knowledge of on premises storage hardware (SAN/NAS) and cloud storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of post-production formats, compression / encoding codecs.
  • Understanding of file naming conventions, media management, and media archiving.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to post-production equipment and software.
  • Strong people and communication skills for inspiration, management, and training.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.

Experience

  • 5 years post-production experience with at least +5 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • 3 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • 2 years of Motion Graphics experience.
  • Experience with production and post-production budgets and spreadsheets.
  • Adult industry experience is a plus.
