We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) for high availability and disaster recovery. Additionally, you will administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller configuration
  • Manage Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions to ensure secure access to critical systems and data
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
  • Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of system administration tasks and process improvements
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage and secure Windows environments effectively
  • Configure and manage MSSQL clusters to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security breaches
  • Implement and manage Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and administer Globalscape for secure data transfer and storage
  • Maintain relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure up-to-date knowledge and adherence to best practices
  • Implement security measures and best practices to harden Windows servers and network infrastructure against potential threats
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other listed technologies
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
  • In-depth understanding of Windows Server hardening techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA)
  • Azure/GCP industry certification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
