As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Micron, you will be at the center of this exciting and growing field, supporting our Identity and Access Governance (IAG) organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct in-depth analysis and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support IAM operations, decision-making, and end-user resources.
- Design and implement automation solutions using tools like Python, Power Automate, and other scripting tools.
- Define solutions and make recommendations using data-driven conclusions.
- Retrieve data from sources such as databases, usage logs, SharePoint lists, surveys, and web analytics.
- Perform ETL and data transformation tasks to form useful composite views.
- Design, develop and test new Microsoft SQL databases, tables, stored procedures, views, and indexes.
- Design and create insightful and user-friendly reports, dashboards and visualizations with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and highlighting critical information.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
**Technical proficiencies required:**
- Microsoft SQL Server - database design, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures.
- Tableau or Power BI.
- Microsoft Excel (advanced).
- Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate & Power Apps.
- Python.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like SSIS, Informatica, Boomi or NiFi.
**Personal attributes required:**
- Exceptional attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving; comfortable working with numbers, statistics, and large datasets.
- Quick learner, able to adopt new tools and leverage insights to make data-driven decisions.
