Job Summary

The Commodity Manager for Regional Professional Services is a key role within Rockwell Automation, responsible for leading cross-functional teams and sourcing projects to find innovative solutions for multiple services and commodities. This position requires a strong understanding of regional sourcing strategies and the ability to drive year-on-year improvement in total cost, quality, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Sourcing Strategies
    • Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for multiple services and functions.
    • Manage regional sourcing teams to achieve year-on-year improvement in total cost, quality, and service.
  • Supplier Management
    • Engage with Business Unit and regional facility managers and teams to support a Risk Mitigation program and process that impacts Rockwell's third parties supporting the company's Security strategies.
    • Responsible for Regional Supplier Management, monitoring supplier performance around security, quality, delivery, and lead time.
  • Strategic Sourcing Projects
    • Support and lead strategic projects and negotiations for several Regional Departments.
    • Drive implementation of the sourcing strategy for various assigned engineering projects.
  • Performance Metrics
    • Measure and track performance on Sourcing KPIs within each commodity or service.
    • Responsible for monthly reporting to senior management on key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of services commodities.
  • Team contributor – comfortable in leading cross-functional, international, and multi-cultural teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret basic contractual language.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Problem-solving oriented with project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word).
Company Culture

Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy requires employees to work at a Rockwell location at least on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
