The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing general ledger account reconciliations and account balance fluctuation analysis.
  • Preparing intercompany reconciliations.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Supporting banks relationship and cash management.
  • Preparing the cash flow forecast report on a weekly basis.
  • Preparing the Company's GAAP and Statutory Financial Statements and External Reports.
  • Fixed Asset and leasing accounting management.
  • Executing internal controls and maintaining related documentation for external reporting.
  • Assisting in the preparation of external and internal reporting documents, including the end of month, quarterly, and annual close process.
  • Preparing and providing timely and accurate information to 3rd party advisors related to tax calculations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with tax regulations.
  • Assisting with any tax issues and tax authority's revisions.
  • Assisting with the independent auditor's review of the financial statements and tie-out support.
  • Presenting financial reports and estimates to decision makers within the organization.
  • Proactively identifying issues and offering solutions.
  • Participating in special projects as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong time management, communications, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve general problems.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external peers.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Mexican TAX and PAYROLL experience is a nice to have.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
