About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Syncreon. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting close process for various entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SAP systems.
- Coordinate with external consultants to ensure seamless accounting close and other activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly estimates of profit and loss, and provide explanations to management.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and CAPEX reports.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Treasury, and other corporate areas to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll coordination and controls, including social security, payroll tax, and electronic invoicing.
- Lead project management initiatives for various business and finance topics, including new business development and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business team members across various divisions.
- Travel within Mexico and the USA as required, with a valid visa.
- Knowledge of the logistics industry, including containerized cargo, freight forwarding, and other related areas, is a plus.
- Internal and external audit experience, as well as financial compliance and internal controls expertise, are highly valued.
- Statutory accounts preparation and statutory requirements experience are essential.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager in an international company.
- Logistics industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and SAP systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English language skills.
