- Develop and document manufacturing work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in the analysis of production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing projects and Six Sigma activities.
- Coordinate production schedules and material requirements to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support new product introductions and the scaling up of manufacturing processes.
- Active student with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for creating and modifying engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software tools, such as ERP systems or process simulation software.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
- Analytical skills to analyze data and use statistical methods to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to group projects.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
