Overview
General Mills, a leading food company, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead the Food Service channel in Latin America. With over 24 years of presence in the region, we're committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing short- to mid-term sales strategies to achieve Net Sales, Trade, and Delivered Margin objectives for all General Mills brands in the region.
Core responsibilities include:
- Sales Target achievement and overall account targets management
- Budgeting, monitoring, and achieving sales budgets
- Account plan development, implementation, and evaluation to maximize sales value and increase new distribution points
- Prospecting and growing the Food Service customer base while maintaining strong business relationships with existing customers and key decision makers
- Ensuring timely Accounts Receivables collection and healthy financial P&L management
- Effective trade fund management and corporate event coordination
- Gathering market, customer, and competitor information
- Participating in Product/Demand and Sales/Marketing meetings
- Monthly management report submission
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- +15 years of professional experience in the CPG industry
- Fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of developing sales and customer relationships, as well as implementing trade initiatives
- Familiarity with the Food Service market environment in Latin America
