About the Role

Schneider Electric Norge AS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Integrated Warehouse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing state-of-the-art processes to optimize our logistics functions in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics operation to set up our integrated logistics centers across North America, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Optimize and Deliver: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our integrated logistics centers and 3PL partner platform, ensuring high performance and driving operational efficiency by analyzing processes, implementing improvements, and maximizing resource utilization.
  3. Empower and Grow: Champion talent development by setting objectives, providing mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, and build strong local logistics competencies within the team.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure rigorous adherence to all industry safety protocols, including OSHA, DOT, and other governmental regulations, and lead EHS action plans by ensuring focus, implementation, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
  5. Performance and Results: Oversee all inventory, logistics, and distribution operations, manage the ILC and external 3PL Platform to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through strategic action plans and regular performance reviews, and lead complex projects and set clear objectives for achieving desired outcomes.
  6. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance for logistics operations, regularly monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, identifying trends and areas for further improvement.
  7. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and inspire a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, and provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting skill development and career growth.
  8. Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives related to logistics operations, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and obtain buy-in for changes.
  9. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, transportation, and distribution, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment, and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in logistics operations, with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving results through cross-functional teams.
  5. In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
  6. Proficiency in using logistics software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Change management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and drive successful change initiatives.
  9. Track record in both logistics and industrial operations will be appreciated.
Competencies
  1. Strong understanding of the end-to-end logistics processes – warehousing, transportation, customers, trade compliance, project management, automation etc.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
  3. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  4. Proven ability to lead a cross-functional project with structured project governance.
  5. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  6. A self-motivated and influential change agent with experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  7. Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
  8. Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive team leader who welcomes challenges.
Language

Fluent in English.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in Operations or Supply Chain Functions (e.g., in distribution center operation, Logistics, Customer Service, Distribution, Project Management).
