Valce Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex ABAP programs for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ABAP programs based on specifications provided by functional consultants and business users.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business processes and requirements.
- Perform technical design, development, testing, and debugging of SAP modules and programs.
- Assist functional teams during testing phases to resolve issues and ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project planning.
- Perform unit testing, debugging code, and fixing bugs. Ensure that the program is functioning correctly before it's deployed to production.
- Improve the performance of existing programs. This involves analyzing program run times and optimizing code to improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in ABAP Workbench tools (ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, SmartForms, ALV Reports, etc.)
- Familiarity with the functionality and table structures of SAP modules like MM, PP, SD, QM, etc.
- Ability to perform performance tuning to improve efficiency and reduce runtime.
- Experience with user exits, BADI, BAPI, Enhancement Spots, and implicit and explicit enhancements.
- Expertise in creating/modifying SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Interactive Reports.
- Experience with data migration tools such as LSMW and BDC.
- Proficiency in debugging ABAP code.
- Understanding of ALE, IDOC, EDI, RFC, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Experience with web technologies like Web Dynpro, Fiori, UI5 is a plus.
- Knowledge of ABAP development for SAP HANA, including the use of new database features (e.g., CDS views) is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- A competitive salary of $29,000.00 per month.
