Business Planning and Analysis Manager Role

To support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts, and coordination of specialists. The Business Planning and Analysis Manager will act as a Business Partner for BPA within a country, providing insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the management team.

About the Position

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the operational conversion of BPA strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business.
  • Providing management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests.
  • Performing analysis to evaluate risks or opportunities and making recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Managing and providing financial analysis and decision-making support for an investment/project in a domain.
  • Ensuring ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured, and driving early warning for re-direction of resources with Business Partners.
  • Providing accurate operational information and advice to support the annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and Strategic Planning processes.
  • Ensuring integrity of data provided by commercial teams and providing value-added recommendations on forecast accuracy improvement.
  • Continually improving and streamlining existing management reporting processes and supporting the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet the changing demands of the business.
  • Reporting of technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Chartered accountant or Finance degree with 5+ years of experience in Finance Domain.
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise planning and consolidation tools is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
