Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the development and management of our next-generation Xeon platform server hardware. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing programs of large scope, impact, and complexity, and will oversee the development and operations execution of our hardware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity, including managing a core team that manages functionally specific teams.
  • Have ultimate decision-making authority at the program level.
  • Serve as the key interface and leader of the program between Data Platform Engineering and Architecture and DCAI and other Business Unit stakeholders and leadership.
  • Influence business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
  • Lead the Core HW team(s), guiding performance of functional teams usually through other PM leads.
  • Plan and manage both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development and implementation of products for external customers.
  • Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
  • Coordinate resources with other functional areas and management.
  • Actively manage the program to ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met.
  • Assess risk and identify issues related to the delivery of the Xeon platform.
  • Monitor progress against schedule.
  • Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Program Manager in Electronics Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience with Data Center technical concepts, architecture, systems, and product development methods.
  • 4+ years of experience presenting to executives and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Server board, system and datacenter design and architecture.
  • Experience with hardware and software engineering methodology.
  • Technical understanding of Intel's silicon and/or platform Product Life Cycles (PLC's).
  • Experience using OpEx / Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency is a plus.
  • Past experience managing Capital and/or expense budgets highly desired.
