About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services Team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with customers to gather business requirements, document functional and technical recommendations, and define, document, and execute technical solutions.

In this role, you'll participate in Learn Workshops, documenting requirements, and run Technical Workshops, documenting requirements. You'll also create Functional and Technical Design Documents based on requirements, configure Zendesk based on the agreed Functional Design Document, and build technical solutions based on the Technical Document.

Additionally, you'll create custom reports using GoodData (Insights) based on customer requirements, engage in multiple projects concurrently, and maintain technical product expertise across the entire Zendesk product suite.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of Project Management and Business Analysis fundamentals, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and eloquent writing skills. If you're passionate about customer service and how it can transform businesses, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 3+ years technical consulting experience
  • Experience working on medium to low complex customer engagements
  • Experience with various architectures (Web, Enterprise, SaaS) and methodologies
  • Experience with JavaScript and HTML/CSS
  • Experience with RESTful and JSON API
  • Experience with SSO and telephony solutions
  • Experience with creation of UI designs
  • Good understanding of support processes and infrastructure
  • Excellent instincts and ability to interface at a senior level with ease
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Be accountable for billable utilization targets
  • Ability to deliver consulting onsite and remote
  • Minimal domestic / international travel
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with a backend programming language (Ruby, Python, Java, C#, etc)
  • Familiarity with a frontend programming language/framework (Javascript, React, Vue, JQuery, etc)
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or AWS Certification
