About the RoleAs a Senior Security Firewall Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining firewall solutions to protect our network from unauthorized access and threats.
You will work closely with our network engineers to ensure the security of our network architecture and design, and develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities- Firewall Management: Design, configure, and maintain firewall solutions to protect our network from unauthorized access and threats.
- Security Policies: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Network Security: Collaborate with network engineers to ensure the security of our network architecture and design.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor firewall performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize security and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network security, with a focus on firewall management.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security.
- Proficiency with firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN technologies, and secure remote access solutions.
