Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as a Purchasing Assistant for the Amazon Transportation System (ATS) team.

1. Procurement Operations: Align with the Site Procurement Operations Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support.
2. Non-Inventory Receiving: Manage non-inventory receiving.
3. Category Management: Develop deep knowledge of building Non Inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices.
4. KPI Management: Manage related KPI to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports.
5. Relationship Development: Support relationship development across the building and network.
6. Financial Analysis: Align with Internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building to develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings, value, and other category metrics.
7. Category Metrics Model: Assist in building the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the category strategy.
8. Savings Measurement: Measure actual vs planned savings and advise the team of trends, escalate issues and own action plans.
9. Supplier Scorecards: Manage and maintain supplier scorecards.
10. Team Support: Support the procurement operations and category management teams.

• 1-2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, procurement.
• Bachelor's degree.
