Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and improving product quality within our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, considering factors such as workflow, material flow, equipment selection, and production layout.
  • Issue Resolution: Support rapid corrective action to address issues at the sites regarding the Mfg. build process, ensuring no GME gating issue impacts customers, MFG, schedules, or CSP/NW/GP eFAI approvals.
  • NUDD/DFX Review: Support the NUDD/DFX review in time and follow the steps and schedules of the Dev process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective solutions to issues during NPI phases.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control processes and inspection methods to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other improvement frameworks.
  • Equipment and Tooling: Select and design appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures required for manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of Manufacturing experience.
  • Language Skills: English language skills are required (Spanish language skills also preferred).
  • Software Skills: Good with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 software.
  • Personal Qualities: Focus on customers and positive results.
Preferred Requirements
  • Specialized Skills: Six Sigma, Power BI, experience with assembly manufacturing process development and definition, and input to Bill of Process (BOP) / Bill of Engineering (BOE).
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes and methodologies, strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities, strong verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organization, coordination, and project management skills with a strong sense of ownership, flexibility to work some evening hours, ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed, team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously, ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments.
