About the Role

We're looking for an experienced back-end software engineer to design and build compelling digital experiences focused on enhancing the customer journey for our collectors. You'll collaborate closely with Design and Product partners to implement user-focused solutions using modern cloud-based architectures that can scale to meet the needs of our vast user base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement effective, user-driven digital experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Design and deliver complete features, ensuring testability, deployment, and scalability
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote consistent design patterns
  • Support efforts to modernize cloud-based solutions and ensure seamless integration

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in Python and experience with AWS cloud technologies such as Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, Terraform, and Docker
  • Familiarity with Service Oriented and Microservice architectures
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices for security, testing, documentation, and monitoring
